So it did not come as a surprise that bahu Aishwarya Rai Bachchan’s baby shower turned out to be a grand affair witnessing the presence of almost every known face of the tinsel town.
Where the veteran actors of the golden era with the likes of Saira Banu, Asha Parekh, and Dimple Kapadia showered their blessings on the mom-to-be, the guest list also included the likes of Bipasha Basu, Karan Johar, Sonali Bendre, Twinkle Khanna, Manyata Dutt, Raveena Tandon, Urmila Matondkar, Poonam Sinha, Neeta Lulla, Neelam Kothari, Mana Shetty and many more.
Abhishek Bachchan was seem beaming ear-to-ear dressed in a traditional kurta. Mother-in-law, Jaya Bachchan, received each guest personally. Aishwarya Rai did not pose for the cameras but she is reported to be wearing an orange coloredtraditional dress .
Saira Banu, who gifted the mom-to-be a gold coin, later said, “Aishwarya was looking like a ‘chand ka tukda’. She was looking beautiful. We wish Abhishek and Aishwarya all the best.”
